Since our inception in 1913 by the Tide Water Oil Co. in Pennsylvania, Veedol has fueled the history of modern mobility.
- 1914: Henry Ford selects Veedol for the Ford Model T, the world’s first mass-produced automobile.
- 1928: Veedol lubricates the engines of the Graf Zeppelin during its historic round-the-world flight.
- 1931: "Miss Veedol" completes the first non-stop trans-Pacific flight (Tokyo to the US).
- 1954: Development of the first HD (Heavy Duty) Engine Oil for the German market.
- 1979: Veedol technology utilized in the Columbia Space Shuttle program.
- 2011: Veedol Corporation Ltd. acquires global rights to the Veedol master brand from BP.
- 2014 & 2016: Strategic expansion via a Joint Venture with ENEOS Corporation (Japan) and the acquisition of Granville Oil & Chemicals (U.K.).
